How incredible is this cover?!
Ohhh Emily Snow! I should apologize for not getting on your
fan train earlier!
This was my first, and definitely not my last read by Emily
Snow, whom I think I’ll call my neighbor since Roanoke isn’t THAT far from my
NC home. So great job, neighbor, on this incredible story! I loved
it. I’m not going to lie, after finishing this I had a girl crush. So
then I thought, I’ll see how I feel tomorrow after some sleep- before I write
my review. Well folks, my girl crush hasn’t faded, and neither has my love for
this underestimated book. And by that, I mean there aren’t nearly enough
of my friends with this on their TBR list. So friends? Get on that.
Anyway, you have Willow- a young actress fresh out of rehab,
pressured into a roll of a movie by her family and management. She takes on a
roll in a surfing movie, where she’ll need to be trained by Cooper, a renowned
surfer from Hawaii with an Australian accent. Let me say, I love
Australian accents as much as Willow does. And I totally hear Cooper
talking in his every time I read anything he says. It’s instant
attraction, that goes to more. Cooper? Gah, read this and tell me you
don’t like Cooper. My jaw will hit the floor. Much like it did with
several blindsiding twists that for once, I didn't see coming.
Anyway, I’m not going to lie, I bought this on my Kindle,
AND registered for a copy in the giveaway—I’m really hoping I win one, because
that’d just awesome. Heck, Ms. Snow, it can be an early birthday present
for me… just sayin’.
So friends, get this one out of your TBR queue, and start
now. If I’m not mistaken it’s only 99 cents. I don’t know that you
can find better reads for that cheap price. Heck, I’ve read more
expensive ones that weren’t worth the 99 cents.
